- Story: I got into the martial arts because of my parents..they were training at West Coast Martial Arts (West Coast TKD at that time) and they loved it. They decided that it would be good for me to have some discipline apart from them, so they signed me up. So I've been doing martial arts for over 10 years. I'm glad they signed me up because one of my instructors turned out to be my husband! So now martial arts is a constant in my life...we travel to the fights in Nor Cal and at home, we travel to Phuket, Thailand to train at Rawai Muay Thai. This upcoming spring will be our third time to visit. We also have two business' . assaultfightgear.com and fightersproshop.com. So basically every waking moment outside of my day to day job revolves around mma.
